Is she done with the path tool? I mean - just path tool without a sketch before?
except that I rarely try a full frontal angle for the face.
No, I didn't use the path tool, except for the bold outer outline. I did start with a sketch, and when I inked it, the picture was really big, so when I downsized it, the lines looked smooth.
